About CryptoBubbles.org
CryptoBubbles.org is an independent, free visualization of the cryptocurrency market. We show the 1000 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization as an interactive bubble chart and a heat map, in 64 languages, so anyone can understand what the market is doing in a few seconds.
We are not an exchange, broker or investment adviser, we do not sell coins and we are not affiliated with any project listed on the site, with any exchange, or with other websites that have a similar name.
Where the data comes from
- CoinGecko – list of the top 1000 coins, market capitalization, supply, all-time high and low, 7-day price history, 7/30/365-day price changes, stablecoin classification and currency exchange rates. Refreshed every hour.
- Binance (public market data) – live prices, 24-hour and 1-hour price changes and trading volumes for coins traded against USDT. Refreshed every 5 minutes on the server and in real time in your browser for visible coins.
A Binance price is only used when it is within 10% of the CoinGecko price, which protects against different tokens that share the same ticker. Market capitalization is re-scaled to the live price. Prices in other currencies are converted with CoinGecko exchange rates.
How the bubbles are calculated
- Size by price change – the bubble area is proportional to the absolute price change in the selected period (hour, day, week, month or year). Extreme outliers are dampened so that one coin cannot fill the whole screen.
- Size by market cap / volume – the area is proportional to the square root of the value, so large and small coins remain visible at the same time.
- Color – green means the price went up, red means it went down; the color gets stronger with the size of the move. A color-blind friendly blue/yellow palette is available in the settings.
- Heat map – each tile's area is proportional to market capitalization and its color to the price change.
Limitations
Data can be delayed or temporarily incorrect, especially for small coins with low liquidity. Always verify information before making any decision. Nothing on this website is financial advice.
